 How do your people work?
The DISC profile shows how a person works. It describes the core behavioral styles that determine how a person solves problems and interacts with others. It shows the pace at which he or she feels comfortable working, and the manner in which he or she responds to rules and procedures.
The DISC profile consists of the following four primary categories:
Dominant--Demanding, decisive, direct, and fast-paced.
Influential--Social, enthusiastic, fast-paced, and persuasive.
Steady--Patient, sincere, calming, and dependable.
Compliant--Accurate, precise, slow-paced, and analytical.
The DISC profile shows a persons broad character traits. This creates a foundation for understanding ones own predispositions and work stylewhether a person is by the book, or domineering, or a consensus builder or methodical. The profiles can then show how all these factors contribute to how a person reacts to other people, and situations of stress or crisis. The results create the possibility for adapting, depending on circumstance, context and need.
The DISC profile comes in versions customized for sales training, customer service training and team building. The profiles also include component analyses of a persons behavioral style including a checklist for communicating, ideal environment, value to the organization, areas for improvement, motivational keys, and keys to managing.
